I am venturing into new territory in so many ways including the world of blogging. This is my first attempt at writing a blog, and as I become more familiar with the process and the functionality, my hope is that it will be a fun and better way to communicate with you. Going forward you can expect to see articles, sermon thoughts and just general thoughts. My journey as a blogger and as a Senior pastor should be fun to watch, my prayer is that both will be a blessing to you.
The last few months have been quite a ride. There have been anniversary parties ordinations commissioning's lots of meetings and lots of prayer. I want to thank Pastors Mark and Ann for being such faithful friends over the last ten years and especially during the transition of the last few months. It has been both hard and exciting, please keep them in your prayers as they both get accustomed to their new and continuing service with Rock Creek and HIM. I mentioned last Sunday Pastor Mark has been incredibly supportive and encouraging to me as I take on this new role, I would say that he has been ideal as a leader, pastor and friend. My hope is that our future and the future of Rock Creek continue to grow as God continues to direct us in His purposes. I will continue to add to this and develop in the future
